School-Based Flu Vaccines

It's flu season and everyone is encouraged to get vaccinated against influenza (flu).  Among the most likely to get and spread the flu are school-aged children.  Because of this, the North Central Health District will once again offer the flu vaccine in all of our district's public schools and in many of our private schools.  The flu vaccine is avilable at no out of pocket cost to students if given on the day that the Health Department is at your school.

If you are interested in the school-based vaccination program, call your child's school or your local health department for more information.
