Children 1st

Children 1st is the single point of entry to identify children with conditions (medical, developmental or socio-environmental) that place them at risk for poor health and / or developmental outcomes. Needed interventions can be made to ensure optimal health and development. Screening of infants and children up to their fifth birthday is provided through a family assessment. Infants, children and families with risk conditions receive referral/ linkage to appropriate services. These individual children are monitored from birth to age five.
