Pandemic Flu

Pandemic Flu Education & Community Awareness

How can you or your agency learn about pandemic influenza?

The North Central Health District had developed a Pandemic Influenza Community Awareness Presentation. This 20-30 minute presentation is geared to a general audience and gives basic information about pandemic influenza and how individuals and families can get prepared. This presentation is available for free to any group, business, or club at any time and can be scheduled by calling 478-751-3029.

The North Central Health District has a pandemic flu e-mail list. If you are involved in pandemic flu planning in your community or in your agency, you will probably want to sign up to be part of this list. We send out a monthly pandemic flu newsletter and we will send out e-mail updates if there is significant new information about pandemic influenza. If you want to sign up for the pandemic flu e-mail list, click on the Contact Us link at the top of the page and request to be put on the list. Please include your name, organization, job title, e-mail address, and phone number. You can call 478-751-3029 for more information about the pandemic flu e-mail list.
